La Medusa - Custom hickory and brass stools

Hickory stools with brass footrests made for La Medusa restaurant in Columbia City Seattle, WA.

These stools were designed for Columbia City staple, La Medusa, to match the height of their new brass-topped bar. The stools are made from heartwood hickory and have a brass footrest.

The most interesting part of this project was designing a vertical workholding system to cut the leg tenons - cutting through my CNC table was tense but cutting each joint perfectly in less than a minute was worth it.
