Slab Flattening
We place your slab on our CNC, alternating sides, until you have a smooth piece of wood with no low spots. We can flatten a wide variety of shapes and sizes from large live-edge slabs to smaller cookies (max dimensions are 4’x8’ with a 6” depth).

Slab flattening is $70/hour with a one hour minimum. Typically most slabs can be flattened in an hour or two but note that certain slabs can take longer if there are a lot of irregularities and/or we’re thinning the piece drastically.

While many of our customers already have a slab and/or project in mind, we are happy to recommend local Seattle places where you can purchase slabs for your projects.
