Lunar lander coffee table

This table was born out of necessity: a need for a collapsible table with a durable surface for PNW summer camping excursions. The legs fold out with assistance from gas struts for easy set-up on earth or moon. Piston struts and weight-saving speed holes were inspired by Tom Sachs' film A Space Program. This table serves as the excursion table as well as my daily coffee table.
